At Magnet Constructions we lay the foundation for successful projects with careful planning from beginning to end. Further details about our process are outlined below:
After initial meetings to discuss your vision, we can provide you with recommendations on a suitable draftsperson or Architect for your project. You may also liaise with others you already have in mind.
Following this, the chosen candidates can discuss your vision, answer any questions you have about the project and start the Design and Approvals process.
During this period, you can also begin the Selections process where you start choosing your specific design details such as colours, tiles, joinery and more. We can provide you with resources to help support your search during the Selections process. You may also choose to consult with an interior designer that can coordinate with us.
Once concepts are devised we can provide a preliminary cost estimate and timeframe for your project.
Once the Selections process and final drawings are completed, allowing the full scope of the project to be defined, we can perform a final detailed costing for you. Your Architect will also help navigate requirements for final Approval. We spend lots of time here working together with you and your Architect to ensure all aspects of the projects are factored into planning and pricing.
During the Contract phase, we can meet again to discuss the project in greater detail. We encourage you to take your time and ask as many questions as you need to be fully satisfied with the final plans before construction begins.
Now, the project can finally take shape as construction begins. Throughout this period, we will be coordinating with suppliers and tradespeople to ensure high quality and timely delivery of project stages.
We will provide you with regular updates and arrange onsite meetings so you can be involved with every step of the process. We value regular communication and encourage all clients to ask questions along the building journey.
When construction is completed, you can finally start exploring your beautifully designed new space. Our service doesn’t stop there as we keep in touch after you move in to ensure you’re settling back into your home.
