At Magnet Constructions, we are a family owned and operated custom residential building company that specialises in architecturally designed alterations, additions and new homes. We have a passion for delivering high quality projects to all our clients, viewing each one as a privilege and helping them creatively express their dream home designs.
Our approach is one of quality, not quantity. We limit the number of projects we take on at once to ensure that strong relationships are built with our clients and that their vision is fully realised. We encourage our clients to be involved in every step of the building journey, so together, the project is something that we can all be truly proud of.
Our company is led by Matthew Dieudonne who has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and passion for building to the table, having begun his career as a carpenter in New Zealand working on complex, architecturally designed homes on steep and challenging terrain.
This early exposure to complex building projects gave Matthew a strong foundational understanding of the building process and extensive hands-on experience. He quickly progressed in the industry to Supervisory and Project Management roles working on numerous projects across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. His experience spans residential projects across a range of styles from heritage to contemporary.
Since moving to Adelaide in 2010, Matthew has continued to embrace his diverse experience in many residential projects for highly esteemed Architects, Designers and Builders. He has since completed a National Diploma in Building and Construction with the Master Builders Association (South Australia) and continues to be an active member in the industry, keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments.
Andrea works behind the scenes to ensure all our projects run to schedule and remain on budget. She helps keep clients updated on projects across the building journey and has formed strong relationships with clients, trades and suppliers. Andrea has been part of the team since the beginning. Her highly organised, dedicated and process-driven approach enable her to effectively support projects from planning phase through to handover. She is always keen to upskill and ensure Magnet is evolving in line with client needs.
Andrea has completed training with the Housing Industry Association in Building Project Support (Contract Administration) and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Work, Health and Safety Management. She helps support the timely and safe completion of all our projects.
Every project is equally important to us, so it’s essential we make the right selection of subcontractors and materials for its success. Over the years, we have built up a dedicated team of expert trades who understand our vision to deliver the highest quality of work, on time, on budget and safely.
We also have strong working relationships with a wide range of material suppliers both in Adelaide and nationally. This allows us to acquire first-rate materials for all our projects in a timely manner.
